Outfit Details:
vintage 1960's dress, vintage shoes {thrifted}
vintage handbag {from my maternal grandmother}
vintage jewelry {from my paternal grandmother}
I fell in love with this dress when I first saw it at my local Goodwill. Most of the time vintage dresses in my area are too big for me and I have to belt them to make them look good. Not this dress. It fit like a glove. There's something about when a piece of clothing fits you so well that instantly boosts your confidence. I felt like Ann-Margaret or the lovely Joan Holloway/Harris.

What a pretty dress! You look great in it!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I usually don't wear 1960s clothing that much, but I couldn't pass it up.
DeleteSuch a pretty dress! I think pinks and reds suit red-headed women so well!
ReplyDeleteYou're making me want to go to my local Goodwill and hunt for some goodies. I DO need some new belts, so maybe on my way home...
I know, the urge to thrift is overwhelming sometimes. Especially now that it's getting cooler out, I want to go buy some more stuff. I love my local Salvation Army, because every Wednesday, nearly everything is 50% off.
